Well...that was depressing...Sabres go to game six facing elimination. Sad

So I haven't blogged in a week because I have been sick (finally feeling mostly better) and trying to have a busy schedule and sickness equals all extra time spent with pillow. This past weekend was amazing. On Friday I got my car that was sweet and I went out to lunch with the guys, Kristy and EJ....at that point I got a lecture about boys in my back seat and how "boys that think they are men are the worst kind" from John. That was probably one of the highlights of conversations I have had with him in the past 4 years . It was awesome. I also went out for wings with Fish on Friday and that was pretty awesome too. To cap the night off we all went to Pegasus and had fun making soup and old jokes with Pauly. Good stuff. Again, I love my friends because we just laugh and have a good time together. Sat. fire at the Fishes always fun. Sunday...AKA today well the Sabres lost but I went frolthing with Jake and Trevor. Okay if you know them, enough said. I played super bad but it was a great time.

Anyhow so what significant did I learn this week? Well I had one really impact-full experience on Wed. My professor and I took a trip to Buffalo to tape at the King Center. The King Center is a school for poverty stricken kids in Buffalo. I had no idea what to expect but it was really cool. All the kids seemed really happy and THEY WERE QUIT. I have never seen 1st-4th graders so quite in my life. They seemed to all listen and be cute. (we were taping from a balcony so it wasn't an account of us). It was really cool. On the way home Dave and I were talking about it and he said something really profound. Sorry if I butcher this if you happen to read this Dave. "They are at peace. That why they are quite, they know everything is okay. They are happy". I just thought that was really cool and looked back to some times in my life when I felt at peace. Its just so great to see ministries like the King Center and the people that pull it off. Praise God.
