The past few days
wow. staying out late every night and getting up early is starting to get to me.
The reason I haven't blogged lately is because I am been out doing crazy things. Since my last blog I ended up at wegmans at 1:30 am tossing the disc and searching for tim tams/$400 mushrooms and eating ice cream sandwichis. ...that was super fun and I definitely beat matt at the first light to greg saying "wow Kerry I didn't know you knew how to drive like that way"
The next day a bunch of us went down to Zoar Valley to chill and jump off the waterfall it was a ton of fun. Its such a rush I love it. People were doing some sick jumps like double backflips etc. it was nuts. After that we all chilled at Mackers for a bit and filled our much needed appetite for food. The only thing super funny that happened is t-revs car was overheating. When we got back to the hub he made some sarcastic comment and I said that if he needed help with his car don't ask me for help and he was all like I wont I would never ask you for help....wooops who had to give him a ride home? This girl
Today was KB set-up which was pretty sweet. Got to see some cool rigging and run the cables for the lights. All and all rough work but it was a solid time. After that we all went to John and Mary's hung out for awhile then went various places to get ready for Mikes. That was super cool. Bonus. Mike's dad fixed my fiber optic disk so now it is usable again. Let the glow frisbee begin. At this point I am to tired to think.
I would have to end with the fact that I love my friends. I love being able to just chill and not having everything be all high stress. The best thing is just hanging out and talking.
I did have one eye opening experience today that let me back to a Donald Miller message (author of blue like jazz). So I was sitting talking with someone. Not anything too deep but not talking about the weather. So his phone rings but ya know what...he hit ignore. It just reminded me of Donald Millers message because he was talking about relationships and cell phones like your out to eat and how bad does it make the other person feel if you answer your phone. Actually now that I think about it it might have been Rob Bell in his message Fully Present where he was saying how in our lives our heads are just somewhere else all the time and we are never just thinking about what is happening during the now. He brought that back to are relationship with Christ and prayer and trying to be fully present rather than focussing on God. Just some food for thought kinda rambled because is 2 in the morning. If anyone wants to listen to Fully Present I have in on my comp. just let me know. It was life changing. This is long. The end.

Roommate, I miss you too!!
And we need to talk about our room...and I need to send you a pic of my chair (but Mom's not sure if it will fit in the van we're taking up to Houghton, so yeah...we'll figure it out). But anyway, how do you feel about bean bag lounge chairs (or something kinda like them)? And I won't forget our Lisa Bennett paper.
I'm heading back on the 26th...it seemed just a "little" rushed to go back the 27th...when are you heading back?
Maybe I'll call ya (hahahaha), but actually, I think I'll e-mail you a pic of my chair (and a pic of the bean bag lounge chair thing) and then we'll talk.
Long comment, kinda...but hey, I haven't talked to you in a long time.
Oh, and it sounds like you had a fun time at Zoar Valley, etc. :)
