Kutless, Disciple, Red

The wonderful opportunities I get to do cool stuff never cease to amaze me.

Last night we had the Heart of the Innocent tour play at my church. I was part of the load in/load out/stage crew. It was so much fun. I actually had previously met one of there crew guys so I worked with him and actually got to climb trusses and wire lights. We also talked alot about different shows we had both been a part of and that was really cool.

The shows themselves were really good. I was so glad I was not disappointed by Red. I really wanted them to have a great show because I love there CD so much. Awesome. Just awesome. Great live show, great live sound. Disciple was okay...really loud I left for most of it to do stage work and talk to a friend. Kutless probably goes down to the best non-worship production I have ever seen. Just really good.

In other news...I am becoming old. I am now the loser that sits near the back and wears earplugs....I don't know whats happening to me. I fail to get excited at shows anymore as I was standing backstage for half of Kutless and was just like oh...this is okay. hmmm...oh dear my youth is fading.

This post would be lacking if I didn't say thanks to Kevin (J) for letting me part of his crew for the show. Super great time. Thanks.

Dangit! Wish I was there. I can def relate to the whole "youth fading" thing. But concerts like that are still pretty sweet. I heard my little brother was there. Did you hook him up or something? Are you going to Hamburg this weekedn because Joy and I will be there...
