Interesting Day.

So much good stuff happened! I got asked to make the admissions video for Kingdom Bound for Houghton. I am 99% sure I am working on the park stage for Kingdom Bound and I finally have direction on the prison video! Really good deal.

I took a tour of the new jail in Belmont today because I am making the rules and regulations video for the sherifs department. Honestly, I was really intimidated, not only was the Allegeny County Sherif there but so were 4 other sherif officers. It was pretty intense. The jail is a lot different than what I thought it would be but none the less interesting. I am so excited to be working on this project.

Racquetball update: I lost track of the overall score but today 2-1. Walker.

ahh...I finally got my head above water in school so now I can actually write something in this.

Recently I have been reading {Re}Understanding Prayer by Kyle Lake. Its a book about prayer (obviously) but this thing is its really really simple. Sometimes I think that prayer is really hard because we overcomplicate it. I was challenged to look at my prayer life when a professor was talking and said "Prayer is an indicator of your spiritual life" Well if it is, my spiritual life sucks.

One simple things that I took away from the few chapters I read so far is the acronym acts. (mind you not the first time I heard it, but still really good to remember) Its a way to come before God in a simple way when you lackr focus.

-Adoration (worship)
-Confession (the act of confessing)
-Thanksgiving (giving thanks)
-Supplication (to humbly ask)

Good deal and good to remember.

Frisbee tonight really looking forward to it to say this least. On a side note I got an A+ on a test (first time this semester)
