Average? The average thoughts of a typical college kid just trying to make it though in one piece.

To my friends

This one goes out to anyone who is my friend after this week. If your not aware the fall retreat was last weekend (kinda stressful lack of sleep) Monday afternoon I was asked by my college to make of video for our President, it needed to be done this afternoon. I probably would have jumped out my window if it wasn't for my friends this week. In the course of this week this is what happened.

-Brandon came with me and Kate to burger king because I needed food to get through the night

-Paul drove my car back to Hamburg because I was too tired to drive

-Dave sat in the coffee house and let me process stuff for over an hour

-Bree, Bethany, Krista, Hanna---dealt with my bi-polarness stress talk from the week and made sure I ate.

-The frisbee team didn't rip into me for not being at practice

-My TEYCM group let me miss meetings

-Dr. Case threatened to beat someone with a cricket bat on my behalf.

-Walker and Ashley-kept me sane and understood that I was going crazy

-My roomate, not only did she drive to rochester with me which caused her to stay up till 3 am to do her homework but she lived with my mess all week as I refused to put anything on my desk because I needed space to edit.

-Dave again he listened to me, tried to keep me from getting too stressed, gave me ideas to make the footage (that i didn't shoot) suck less and encouraged me when I was doubting myself. Basically talked with me for literally hours during this project. He said 4 words that made me smile today "I'm proud of you". That meant so much to me

-Kevin (J) saved my tail. Not only did he talk to me when I needed an ear to process some stuff on monday for over an hour, he produced a backing track for the video overnight. There are not to many people that you can call at 8 on wed night ask them to produce you a song for broadcast with the license and not only did he say yes he had it for me on thurs night. and he introduced me to jesse spinkle. sweetness.

This was definitely a video project to remember. If anyone cares to see it (believe me its boring--its posted or will be shortly on....http://last-word.blogspot.com/ The fall retreat video is poster there as well. Cheers to video projects that stretch you.

Frisbee tourney this weekend! Go Houghton.
