good times

Well I'm not gonna lie the beginning of today did not boad very well for me. I woke up to find that there was 3 major stains on my dress cloths that I am taking to australia. Not good. But things really only got better from there. Everything was okay with my Houghton check...amazing. Dropped of the prison video. awesome. Got a sweet t-shirt with my name on it from my friend that is a CO at the prison. Then I went to see my friend Bree. So much fun I miss her so much. We made grilled cheese. I don't know how that is fun but it was amazingly fun. Then I got home went out to eat then fire at my house. Fun with burning stuff and my step-dad lit off some fireworks for my friends. Probably one of the main highlights of my day was Walker called and Ashley was with them. I miss my friends from college especially those two. (Any of course my roomate and Bree and Bethany and everyone else)

Big day tomorrow taping for Enemy Opposition at Darien lake.

friends

Serious Part of Post: So while I was going crazy at work tonight...stupid people. Literally. I was making up some steak hoogies and this statement came to mind from somewhere "God doesn't call the qualified he qualifies the called." As I prepare to go to Australia that statement hit hards. Its no secret that I am a bit nervous about being a leader in Australia. I am perfectly comfortable with just about anything tech. wise but this is out of my comfort zone which is great. Especially because of the call God has put on my life.

Nervous but staying faithful. I should make steak hoogies more often.

Not so Serious Part of Post: I am talking to my roommate. It makes me happy. I get to see Bree tomorrow. It makes me happy. I hung out with my friends tonight. It made me happy. So I was trying to figure out how to describe my friends. I don't think I can because we go from creating fake companies and firing/hiring people to talking about prayer and having a serious conversation about swearing to throwing wet napkins across denny's. Burning stuffed animals to ingnighting fire with flower. I just don't know what to say. I love my friends. The dynamic is amazing. I know I can be myself even if that means pouring water down sombody's pants (only because I had a wet 30min drive home last night because that somebody threw me in the pool) or in the same night sitting and praying for each other as we move on to different things this summer. I love it. Thank you so much God for blessing me with great friends. (a little Teresa of Avila style writing for you there...thank you Dr. Case).

Anyway although feeling very contemplative I am also very tired and have to drive up to houghton tomorrow.

Peace

'the hit'

Well I am tired but this was worth it. So today I went to lunch with the guys minus Pauly. Good times although I daily wonder what is it I miss so much about them when I am gone.

Alrighty, so Dan is one of our youth pastors. Kinda has this subtle sense of humor. Little Sarcastic. Funny guy. Anyway a couple of other times when I have been asked to pray before meals and said more than "Thank you for this food. Amen" I have been kicked underneath the table. Not mocking on the almighty. Genuinely thankful but hungry I assure you.

Anyway so today at lunch John asks me to pray and I said more than normal. Out of the corner of my eye I see this thing coming at my face. Assuming it is Dan who is sitting across from me I swing at it. Was it Dan. Nope. It was our unsuspecting waitress. Funny. (maybe not for her) And it gave something else for the guys to make fun of me about. lol. It was also funny when John took a loud sip of his water and half the resturant turned around along with other stuff. All around good times I love being home.
